This page is a structural draft, written against how the booking flow actually works, not generic template text. It still needs a legal/compliance review, and the specific gaps marked like this one filled in, before it should be treated as final.

Booking an appointment

When you book through this website, we check real-time availability with our salon system before confirming anything — you'll either see a confirmed time, or we'll follow up with you directly if nothing suitable was available. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email; a submitted form on its own is a request, not a booking.

Ohmm's little helper

The free-text helper on the booking page uses AI to suggest treatments, a date and time, and to fill in your name and email from what you type. It's a convenience, not a guarantee — it can misread a request, and nothing is booked or held until you review its suggestions and confirm a real, available time on the next step.

Your health and safety information

If you have a medical condition, allergy, are pregnant, on medication, or have had recent surgery, please tell us when booking so your therapist can treat you safely. Ohmm relies on the accuracy of what you share with us for this purpose.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Needs Ohmm's actual cancellation/no-show/rescheduling policy — e.g. how much notice is required, whether a deposit or cancellation fee applies. Nothing like this exists in the booking flow today.

Pricing

Prices shown on this site are indicative and may change. Your treatment's price is confirmed at the salon before or at the time of your visit.

Age and consent

Needs Ohmm's actual policy on minors — e.g. a minimum age, or whether certain treatments (waxing, IPL) require a parent/guardian present or consenting.

Liability

Needs a proper liability clause from whoever reviews this legally — standard practice for a spa/salon, but the specific wording (and any exclusions) should be set deliberately, not defaulted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
